COMedia has been in the camera module industry for over 30 years. We have developed a range of products to meet various applications. In adition to the standard modules, we provide custom design to meet the special needs of customers. For medical system, we help people in customization of camera module as well as the back end processing board.

For Camera Modules

Steel sleeve – We can provide either or not the steel sleeve for camera. The steel sleeve can be in different lengths. In order to minimize the OD of the tip, sometimes we need to custom make thinner wall tube.

LED – We can add different number of LED at the tip for illumination, it can be none, 1, 2 or 4.

Cable length – We can adjust the length of the wire within the hardware limitations to meet the needs of customer. Sometimes we need to make a special cable to meet the medical standard or noise immunity requirements.

For video processing boards

Add isolation circuit – Medical grade hardware that requires isolation circuitry. For standard boards, we don’t build the isolation circuits for cost purposes, they are used for evaluation and verification of functionalities. In real product, customer may want to meet FDA regulation and need isolation circuits, we can help.

Board size and connectors – We can re-draw the PCB as per customer’s control drawing, re-layout the connectors position and etc. NRE involved..

Firmware – Customer may want to have something different in compare to other competitor, we can help in customizing the functions by firmware changes.
